Mysteries of the Paranormal at Potter’s Field – SOLD OUT
ChesLen Preserve | Fri, October 27, 2017, 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Event is SOLD OUT. Check out our other events to plan your next adventure outside!
Take a spine-tingling tour of Potter’s Field, the circa-1800’s cemetery for the Chester County Poorhouse, now part of ChesLen Preserve. The cemetery’s moss-covered headstones are all that remain to mark the graves of “indigents” from Chester County’s past.
We’ll cross Corcoran’s Bridge, walk to Potter’s Field, and enter the realm of old souls and restless spirits. Ghost-One Paranormal Research will guide our search for ghosts and other-world apparitions.
Meet and park at the Stargazer’s Stone-Corcoran’s Bridge Parking Lot, at: 1722 Embreeville Rd, Coatesville, PA 19320. Click here for the google point.
ChesLen Preserve is the largest privately owned nature preserve open to the public in Chester County. Miles of marked hiking trails lead visitors through shady woodlands, flower-filled meadows, fields of corn and soybeans, and stream valleys.
Visitors can also explore Ollie Owl’s NaturePlayGround, where young explorers can climb logs, build stick tee-pees, hunt for bugs, explore small streams, and get a little dirty, tired, and inspired. Free play is encouraged and is a great way for kids to gain an appreciation for nature.
