Enchanted Forest Exploration
ChesLen Preserve | Fri, August 16, 2019, 8:00am - 7:00pm
Search for fairy and gnome homes in Ollie Owl’s Enchanted Forest during this magical, self-guided exploration!
Mythical creatures have taken up residence at Ollie Owl’s NaturePlayGround, at ChesLen Preserve. Visit during the month of August, and look for their homes along the trails and in the playground space. Peer closely, and you may even glimpse a fairy or gnome!
We love seeing kids having fun outdoors! Post your photos on social media with #natlands to tag us.
Please DO NOT TOUCH OR MOVE any of the homes. Leave them for the next family to find!
ChesLen Preserve is the largest privately owned nature preserve open to the public in Chester County. Miles of marked hiking trails lead visitors through shady woodlands, flower-filled meadows, fields of corn and soybeans, and stream valleys.
Visitors can also explore Ollie Owl’s NaturePlayGround, where young explorers can climb logs, build stick tee-pees, hunt for bugs, explore small streams, and get a little dirty, tired, and inspired. Free play is encouraged and is a great way for kids to gain an appreciation for nature.
Wear sturdy shoes for exploring uneven terrain.
This activity is self guided.
Ollie Owl’s trail is not suitable for most strollers.
Please leave your four-legged friends at home.
