plant sale and happy hour – Rescheduled
Stoneleigh: A Natural Garden | Sat, April 25, 2020, 4:00pm - 8:00pm
Out of an abundance of concern for the health and well–being of our guests and community, and in keeping with recommendations made by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local health officials, all group events through May 15 have been cancelled, postponed, or made virtual.
Natural Lands preserves remain open to connect to nature, find peace, and recharge with passive outdoor recreation. We have modified some public access.

More than a plant sale! Spend an evening shopping an incredible selection of the most exceptional plants we grow—from familiar favorites to the rare and unusual—all while enjoying a variety of beers and wines.
Stroll the garden, bring a picnic dinner, listen to live music by local singer-songwriter Kate Nyx, and admire “plein air” artists from LandArts Events as they paint throughout the garden. Members of Natural Lands can take part in a relaxing yoga class in the Circle Garden.
Ales and asters, pinot and paw paws—what could be better than spending a spring evening sipping and shopping at Stoneleigh?
Proceeds of the plant sale benefit the ongoing gardening activities, educational programs, and outreach at Stoneleigh. Can’t make it on Saturday or want to pick up more plants? Stop by the parking lot on Sunday, where any remaining plants may be available for purchase.
Stoneleigh is one of 36 gardens within 30 miles of Philadelphia, making our region America’s Garden Capital. Learn more at AmericasGardenCapital.org.
For nearly 80 years, Stoneleigh was the home of the Haas family, which donated the property to Natural Lands in 2016 so that it would remain preserved forever.
The property includes stately trees, winding pathways, and lush gardens that were designed by a number of notable landscape architects over the past century—including the Olmsted Brothers, sons of the famed Frederick Law Olmsted.
