Stoneleigh: A Natural Garden | Sun, September 30, 2018, 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Bring your creative spirit and learn how to create beautiful floral arrangements using a variety of colorful blooms and greens. Botanical artist Leona Swiacki will guide the workshop and all materials are provided.
For nearly 80 years, Stoneleigh was the home of the Haas family, which donated the property to Natural Lands in 2016 so that it would remain preserved forever.
The property includes stately trees, winding pathways, and lush gardens that were designed by a number of notable landscape architects over the past century—including the Olmsted Brothers, sons of the famed Frederick Law Olmsted.
- Park and walk to Carriage House where we’ll hold the workshop.
- Bring a pair of floral shears if you have them. We will have some to borrow.
- Sorry, dogs are not permitted at Stoneleigh.
