While we’re past peak fall color there is still a show to see. Now it’s the oaks’ turn. The effect on the far ridgetops is a warm but not bright orange. But up close individual trees at the preserve burn bright, particularly in the early morning or late afternoon. As we change to a season of more subtle colors, enjoy the last of the leaf-peeping.
