Although we’re disappointed that we can’t all come together in-person for the 7th annual ChesLen Chase, we’re excited about the options we’re able to offer virtually.
ChesLen Chase runs from Sat., October 10, through Sun., October 18
Team DIRT vs. Team ASPHALT
Which side are you on? Are you pounding the pavement or hitting the trails?
We’re pitting trail runners against road runners in some friendly competition to see which team gets the most participants, most miles completed, and most elevation gained… and has the most fun on social media.

– 2 miles – 5K – 10K – half marathon – Chase Challenge: complete the 2 mile, 5K, 10K, and half marathon
registration fee (any distance)
$35 – includes a race t-shirt, medal, Team DIRT or Team ASPHALT sticker, and virtual bib
*Children 12 and under are free. Race t-shirt not included, but may be purchased separately in the online store during registration.

how does it work?
Choose your side: Team DIRT or Team ASPHALT.
Register for your preferred distance.
Pick your favorite tracking app such as Strava, Garmin, Map My Run, Nike, Runkeeper, etc.
Whenever you’re ready, walk, run, or hike your chosen distance any time between Saturday, October 10th, and Sunday, October 18th. With the exception of the Chase Challenge, you must complete your distance in one attempt. For Chase Challengers, you may complete the challenge over several days, but each separate distance should be completed in one attempt.
After completing your chosen distance, enter your results here. Not into racing for time? No problem! You don’t need to enter a time in the results, just please let us know you completed your distance so we can celebrate your accomplishment. Since this is based on the honor system, there are no awards.
