The 75-acre Wawa Preserve is owned by Natural Lands Trust and operated in partnership with Middletown Township. Parts of the property were once used to graze cattle for the Wawa Dairy. Visitors can enjoy trails that traverse a variety of habitats, including dense woodlands along Rocky Run Creek and sunny meadows filled with milkweed, goldenrod, and little bluestem.

Trails
Trails within the preserve are part of an approximately 4-mile network of trails managed by Middletown Township; unpaved trails ranging from easy to moderate
Birds
Birds include Eastern Bluebird, Oriole, Scarlet Tanager, and Kingfisher
Animals
Animals include red fox, box turtle, little and big brown bats, and eastern chipmunk
Grasslands
Former pastureland now filled with both warm-season and cool-season grasses
Forests
Woodlands consisting of beech, red oak, sycamore, poplar, gum, and walnut
Water
Rocky Run Creek runs through the property, which is classified as a high quality cold water fishery and important to migratory fish

Facilities
Due to limited facilities and/or ecological or donor restrictions, use of this preserve is limited.
